Wilhelm,

the package arrived this weekend. After a day of battling my way through the tape I managed to get in there (this is a good thing; I hate badly packaged parcels). The CD's are so very beautifully presented and the pictures do them no justice.

Allow me to thank you once again. I'll be keeping tabs on STS for future releases and will most likely be ordering all of your future output if the quality continues to be as good as at present!

Alright mate,

I've just noticed your update...fucking hell, there's some great stuff you've got lined up.... I am super eager to get my hands on the vc and bird from the abyss vinyls. I got the bird from the abyss cd off you and it is awesome!

So, I was wondering, do you have a mailing list and if so, would you stick me on it? I will keep my eyes open regardless, but a reminder would help!

anyway, keep up the good work (music and packaging!!)

cheers.

Hello My name is Leah and I just ordered some music from your site through a friends pay pal.

I wanted to say thank you so much for making this music available. I have been looking for music like this for so long I thought it didn't exist. I was getting very tired of the same black metal that I have been listening to.I have been waiting for something dark enough to satisfy my myself..... Akhlys....Can I have some more please??? :) Will there be any other projects and can you recommend any other musicians with this flavor (there were some samples of others artists that interested me but were sold out).

I have not gotten to the other 2 Cd's yet but I am hoping that they are just as perfect.

Thanks a lot!

Hi Wilhelm,

Thanks for checking in with me. I just picked up my package last Friday and everything is in immaculate shape. Putting the disc in the paper sleeve outside of the DVD case worked great.

Between the absolutely phenomenal service and patience you had for me and my multiple shipments and the tremendous sounds I have purchased this year through STS (including Lonesummer, Lonesummer/Marsh, Onisund, Velvet Cacoon, Bird From The Abyss, and Schrei Aus Stein), I must proclaim that Starlight Temple Society is the label of the year!

I'll be eagerly looking forward to the next moves coming from the STS headquarters.

Thanks again for everything.

I got my copies of the Roba El-Kaliyeh and Bird from The Abyss CDs today.

As with my last order, I want to let you know that I'm incredibly pleased. Though I've had very little time to listen to them, they look great, and the package put together for The Bird From the Abyss album is extremely well done.

I'm very glad I found out about your label, and I look forward to seeing what the future holds for you.

Hi !

Just a few words to say that i listened carefully to the cds...

The album Jouissance by Sjenovik...well, it's been a while since i lost my interest for dark/black metal..but when i heard their track Erforscher on their myspace, i just said "wow"! And the album is a jewel! pure intense dark ambient music! Really, it's an incrdible discovery!

About Roba..sometimes, you just don't have the words! It's really impressive! how can just one man make such an album? it's a one man orchestra! and well, between sjenovik an roba, i'd say that i have the best 2 albums of the year (no joke)

The Craven Idol tape is good too! but i spend my time listening to the other 2 cds :)

Well, i thought you had good bands in your label, now i'm sure!

Goodbye,

I have to admit, upon my initial research on Schrei aus Stein, I was under the impression that this artist was to be a copy of Velvet Cacoon. Low and behold though, that while there are obviously some undertones to the music that are vaguely that of the aesthetics of VC, I was absolutely blown away at the atmosphere and structure of Talus. The beginning track of Serac leads you by tendrils of ethereal whispers through a torrent landscape that continues throughout the whole cd. I listened to the whole cd while reading through some old journals, and I found myself lost for awhile in the text of the unconscious waves of Talus as the words on crumbled sheets of paper. This is a magnificent display of talent that I havent heard in a long time. I definitely cannot wait to hear what this artist has in store for the future. I give it a perfect 10/10! Thanks again for making this cd available!

Starlight Temple Society,

I just received "P aa opal poere pr. 33" by Velvet Cacoon and the Lonesummer demo and just wanted to let you know that I was really impressed by how quickly I got them and by the quality of the packaging. Great job! Secondly I wanted to mention how great the Velvet Cacoon CD was. AMAZING! The only other music I have of them is "Genevieve" and I became very interested in them after that, and as I am sure you know it is a little difficult to get information on them as you know. so when I had the chance to order it I jumped on it. They have far surpassed "Genevieve", tracks 4&5 especially are fantastic, they have a heart that I felt was somewhat lacking on "Genevieve", and I can guaruntee I will be listening to this quite a bit in the future. I am glad to see that even though fans such as myself are in small numbers compared to the whole of bands/labels that there are people such as you that won't just let it fall by the way side, that run their business better than a major label and treat their artists with respect. Pass the word along.

Great job!

I'd like to add that the packaging for this release [Velvet Cacoon's "P aa opal poere pr.33"] is definitely worth the coin and has gained my respect for Starlight Temple Society. I had no expectations with the label and came away pleasantly surprised with both product and prompt, reliable service.
